Welcome to the Primus Team

ASRC Primus is honored to be selected to provide facility operations and maintenance support services to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) at the Plum Island Animal Disease Center (PIADC). We are eager for the opportunity to support this critical national asset and help DHS and the USDA achieve their mission.

I want to personally welcome incumbent staff to the ASRC Primus PIADC team and assure you that we will make every effort for a smooth, seamless transition. One of the primary sources of information through the transition period is the contract transition website, and I encourage you to check the website often for information and schedule updates. Information will also be provided through your supervising chain.

The 90-day transition begins Oct. 1 as we prepare for the contract to start on Jan. 1. Our team looks forward to meeting you during the transition period as we host orientation events for incumbent employees. Details are available on the Schedule page.

ASRC Primus is committed to a smooth contract transition and thus has proactively reached out to the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 30 in an effort to accomplish a successful bridge of the current Collective Bargaining Agreement from WTSI to ASRC Primus.
